Brett Votava
Brett Votava earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2001 and was elected into the Order of the Bench and Robe. He graduated magna cum laude in 1998 from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
Mr. Votava is admitted to practice before all Missouri, Kansas and California state courts. He also is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, United States District Court of the District of Kansas, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Kansas Bar Association, Kansas Association for Justice, the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
He has been a keynote speaker at nursing and university conferences. He is a past recipient of the Howard Hughes Scientific Research Internship and the Franz Biochemistry Award.
