Michael Rader

Michael Rader graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1999, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1995.

Mr. Rader is a 2008 recipient of the Missouri Bar Foundation’s prestigious Lon O. Hocker Memorial Trial Lawyer Award. This Award is voted on anonymously by the judiciary and is given annually to a trial attorney, age 36 or younger, in recognition of outstanding achievement in trial practice. It is considered the most prestigious award presented to trial lawyers in the state of Missouri. Ingram’s Magazine listed him in the publication’s "Forty Under 40 Class of 2008". Mr. Rader was also recognized by The Kansas City Business Journal as “Best of Bar” in 2008 and 2009 and also chosen as a "Rising Star" for Missouri and Kansas in 2008 and 2009 for Super Lawyers Magazine. Named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by Missouri Lawyers Weekly in 2006, Mr. Rader also was selected as the Jackson County, Missouri Prosecutor’s Office Attorney of the Year in 2001. He was also selected as a Master of the Ross T. Roberts Inn of Court Program.

Mr. Rader is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Kansas Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, Kansas Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association. He has served Chairman for Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's Torts Law Committee 2009-2009.

Mr. Rader is admitted to practice before all Missouri, Kansas and Mississippi state courts, the United States District Courts for the Western District of Missouri, District of Kansas, Northern District of Mississippi and the Southern District of Mississippi.

He is a board member of Friends of Special People and of Sherwood Center for Autistic and Communicative Disordered Children, and is a coach of several youth sport teams.
